Alan Lawrence Pedersen

Age 76, late of Lockport passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. A proud United States Army Vietnam War Veteran. Alan enjoyed gardening, woodworking, golfing, and antiquing. Above all else he cherished spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Ruth (Nee Felten) Pedersen; sisters, Karen Peer and Roxanne Morrissey.

Survived by his beloved wife, Jackie (Nee Barr) Pedersen; loving children, Tracy (Jeremy) Attaway, Stacy (Seth) Watchinski; stepson, Bryan (Tammie) Barr; grandchildren, Gabi, Bella, Nicholas, Austin, River and Beau; step-grandchildren, Austin (fiancé Caitlyn) and Zachary; siblings, Linda (Mick) Sourek and Wayne (Maxine) Pedersen; and many nieces, nephews, cherished family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cross of Glory Church in Homer Glen, IL would be greatly appreciated.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, 9:15am in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441. Interment following service at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in the funeral home chapel from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
