Alice Marie Kramarz

Age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family during the time leading to her passing. Born in Chicago, Alice and her husband Edward Kramarz, raised their three children in Downers Grove. Moving to Lockport in 2006 where they resided happily at Lago Vista. Her presence and kind spirit will be missed by all.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Kramarz; her mother, Helen Koepp; her brother, Robert Hawkinson; and other family and friends.

She is survived by her three loving children, Laura Kramarz, Rebecca (Mike) Lorkiewicz, and Dan (Meg) Kramarz; beloved grandchildren, Thomas Lorkiewicz, Grace Lorkiewicz, Farrah Lorkiewicz, Elizabeth Kramarz, and Sophia Kramarz; Alice remained close to her sisters her entire life, Nancy (John) Mattson, Ellen (James) Rossi, and Janet (Jeff) Monahan; She had many loving nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

Throughout her life she had many interests, from traveling with friends, camping, crocheting, but most of all she was connected to family and friends. Those around her were an important part of her life, she was always interested in a good visit or phone call to find out about those around her. She will be remembered for her loving nature, practical approach to life, and connection to family. In lieu of flowers, memorials to White Oak Library, Lockport in Alice's name would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 10:00am until time of Service at 1:00pm. Following Service Cremation Rites will be respectfully addressed.
