Amy E. Ballak, 83

Born July 14, 1940 in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.  Passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023 in Joliet, IL.

Amy Edith Fowlow married Richard J Ballak at St. Joseph Church, Joliet, Illinois, on June 29, 1968.

Preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Alma (Soper) Fowlow; husband, Richard Ballak Sr.; son, Dana Ballak; siblings, Catherine Martin, Elizabeth Schweighart, Madonna (Garth) Daly and Edward Fowlow.

Amy leaves two sons, Rick Jr. and Marty, to mourn her passing, ever grateful for her gentle spirit and loving care.

She is remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews for her kindness and sweet disposition.

She's also remembered for her 35 years of service as a CNA for St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet.  Past parishioner of St. Dennis in Lockport and a current parishioner of St. Jude Parish in Joliet.
