Billie L. Dennis

Age 86, of Plainfield passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Born and raised in Oblong, IL moved to Joliet in 1972, lived in Lockport for 38 years, and currently resided with his loving granddaughters in Plainfield. Retired from Waste Management after 45 years of dedicated service. He also worked at Truck and Bus Towing and O’Hare Towing where he was also known for his hard work and dedication. Billie loved to paint, enjoyed restoring cars, playing solitaire, but above all else cherished spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith Dennis (2023); his son, William Stephen Dennis (2023); his parents, Freemont and Zola (nee Coulter) Dennis; one brother, Joe Dennis.

Survived by two sons, Charles (Roberta) Dennis and Gregory (Trisha) Dennis; his brother, Dean Dennis and sister, Carol Ann Dennis; grandchildren, Amy Pryzbylo, Josh Dennis, Amanda Dennis, Travis Dennis, Jesse Dennis, Kelly King, Amber Dennis, Billy Dennis, Zach Dennis; numerous great grandchildren.

Cremation Rites were respectfully addressed.

A Celebration of life honoring Billie's memory will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm at Lockport Moose Lodge #1557, 118 E. 10th St. Lockport, IL 60441.
