Brian J. Johnson

Age 58, lifelong resident of Joliet, passed away suddenly but peacefully on Monday, August 4, 2025. A dedicated hairstylist for almost 40 years. He had a great passion for styling which brought his clients so much joy, and in return brought him joy. He was an avid gardener, took master gardening classes and was the definition of having a green thumb. He enjoyed bowling and fishing, but above all else spending time with his family and friends.

Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Donald J. (2012) and Carol (Nee Brauer) Johnson (2023); and his nephew, Thomas M. Davison; and his partner, Brian Smidt.

Survived by his devoted siblings, Terry Haller of Lockport, Michael (Sandra) Johnson of Joliet, and Mark Johnson of Lockport; adored nephew, Jason (Brandi) Davison of Clinton, IA; great-nephews, Drake and Dalton Davison; and great-great niece, Fiora Davison; dear friends, Ed Erickson, Bruce Valade and Greg Woods; his faithful companion his dog, Rocco; and numerous dear family members and friends.

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until time Memorial Service at 7:00pm.
