Brian Patrick Smidt, age 58 of Joliet, passed away July 25, 2020. Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lorretta Smidt. Brian is survived by his beloved sons, Kevin and Bradley Smidt; loving partner, Brian Johnson; Rosemarie Smidt; siblings, Sandy (Mary) Smidt, Candy Nowobielski, and Skip (Deb) Smidt; furry companion Rocco; numerous friends and family members also survive. Brian enjoyed attending his son's sporting events. He loved the water, the beach, and the beauty of nature. He will be missed by all who loved him.

There will be a visitation held Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME & HERITAGE CREMATORY, 1105 E. 9 ^TH STREET, LOCKPORT. There will be a celebration of Brian's life held at the Smidt Home Friday, July 31, 2020 from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
