Age 90, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Resurrection Life Center.  A De La Salle Christian Brother for 73 years, he was born in Evanston, IL, son of Donald and Clara (Guirsch) Dupré.  He attended St. George H.S. in Evanston and later graduated from La Salle Institute in Glencoe, MO.  He entered the novitiate of the Christian Brothers in 1949, pronounced his first vows the next year and his final vows in 1955.  He earned a B.A. degree from St. Mary's College in Winona, MN, in 1953.  During his years as an educator, he taught at St. Mel H.S. and St. Patrick H.S. in Chicago and served as treasurer for the Christian Brothers in Oak Park and Romeoville and at St. Joseph H.S. in Westchester.  From 1979 to 1986 he was a counselor at Mercy Boys Home in Chicago, and he was Development Director at Christian Brothers Center in Romeoville from 1986 to 1998.  Survivors include his brother-in-law, Vince O'Reilly; his nephew, Fr. Kevin O'Reilly; and his cousin, Brother Thomas Dupré, FSC, among others, and the De La Salle Christian Brothers.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Parish in Chicago on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM with a visitation beginning at 9:00 AM.  Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Techny, IL.  Memorials may be made to the De La Salle Christian Brothers Retirement Fund, 7650 S.
