Brother Christopher Ford, FSC

Brother Christopher Ford, 65, died on February 25, 2025, at the La Salle Community in Romeoville, Illinois.  A De La Salle Christian Brother for 38 years, he was born Christopher E. Ford on June 10, 1959, to Joseph E. and Helen (Bockenthien) Ford in Kirkwood, MO.  He attended Roncalli H.S. in Omaha, NE, graduated from Divine Word College in Epworth, IA with a BA in Sociology, from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL with a BA in Education, and from St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO with a MA in Counseling.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survivors include his brothers, Joseph E. of Hamilton, OH, Andrew of Madison, MS, Uncle Mike, and the De La Salle Christian Brothers. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 1, 2025, 11:00am at St. Charles Borromeo Center Chapel – Lewis University 101 W. Airport Rd, Romeoville, IL. Visitation will be held prior to Mass from 10:00am until 11:00am. Interment private. Memorials may be made to the Christian Brothers, 7650 S. County Line Rd., Burr Ridge, IL 60527.
