Celeste M Walker, 97

Born in Clinton, Iowa on July 24, 1928 to Ethel and Kenneth Kroff. Long time resident of Lockport, IL.

Celeste was a past schoolteacher of Herscher and Dist. 92.  Owner of Maryknoll liquors and Strike n' Spare II in Lockport.  Celeste loved golf, and being at Strike n Spare bowling and dancing with all the people.

Preceeded in death by her loving husband, Dane F Walker and two sisters, Sharon (late Jack) Colliflower and Patricia Dombrowski.

Survived by her children, Anita (James Lesnieski) Gorman and Lawrence (Laurie) Wallker.

Grandchildren, Jeffery Gorman, Samantha Gorman, Anne (Adam) Becker, Tina (Evan) Streahlua, Mike (Laurie) Lesnieski, Dane Walker, Larry Walker and Caryn Walker.

Great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Isaiah, Bryce, Mia, Mackenzie, Maddie and Aidan.

Former son-in-law, Mike Gorman.

Many nieces and nephews with extended family.

Many beloved and appreciated employees.  Her loving and trusted friends, Maggie Baird, Susie Backhoff, Arlene Walsh, Lori Valy and all the many adopted "daughters" that she loved very much.
