Charlotte Dorothy (Schmaltz) Sepanik

Age 85, of Lockport, IL, died peacefully July 11, 2020, at her home in Lago Vista.

Charlotte was born December 8, 1934, to Charles and Olga in South Chicago. She later to moved to the East Side and married the love of her life, Richard K. Sepanik, who passed away on November 30, 2014.

Over the years she enjoyed gardening, baking, fishing, reading, and playing Scrabble,  Yahtzee, and other games with her friends and family. Her favorite pastime was spending precious moments with her family.

Charlotte is survived by her daughters and their spouses Pamela and Gregory Kowalczyk, Barbara and Joseph Moore, Donna and Ross Raspopovich; her son Rick; her grandchildren Nicole (Christian) Katie (Jared), Samantha and Bridgette; and her newest pride and joy - her great grandson Daniel.

As she did throughout her life, Charlotte continues to give, donating her body to the Anatomical Gift Association. She will have a private memorial with her family. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Lurie's Children's Hospital is welcomed.
