Clare Ann G. Paskiet

Age 80, of Lockport passed away peacefully at Lightways Hospice Inpatient Unit surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Born and raised in Chicago, lived in Evergreen Park, Oak Lawn, Frankfort, and a resident of Lockport for over 30 years. Clare was a dedicated Speech Pathologist working within the school districts. Her passion in life was being a professional clown "Puzzletoe" making people smile and laugh brought her so much joy. She was a devout advocate for animals, especially dogs, and supported many animal rescue organizations.

Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gladys (nee Bohne) Paskiet; and her brother, Gregory Paskiet.

Survived by her loving sister, Cecilia (Thomas) Filipiak; devoted nephews, Keith (Jill) and Ken Filipiak; cherished niece, Kate (Jeff) Eagan; and her adored great nieces, Elle and Paige Filipiak, and Anna, Addison, and Ava Eagan. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a local animal shelter in Clare's name would be greatly appreciated.

Per Clare's wishes, Cremation Rites were respectfully addressed.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at St. Dennis Church 1214 S. Hamilton St. Lockport, IL 60441 on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
