Constance "Connie" Evans

(nee Bruno)

Age 71, a lifelong resident of Lockport, Illinois, unexpectedly entered God's eternal care and heavenly gates on Saturday, May 9, 2026. Connie was born in Joliet,  on May 18, 1954 to Andrew and Catherine (nee Pavich) Bruno.  She married Donald "Ricky" Evans on May 19, 2006 surrounded by her loving family.

Connie retired from CITGO Petroleum after many years of dedicated service and enjoyed her retirement with her beloved husband, Ricky.   She was a sweet, caring, loving woman who adored her husband and family.  Connie loved spending time at home, especially enjoying her backyard with her husband, beloved pup Darcie, family, and friends.

She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and drawing.  Though she never had children of her own, she was lovingly regarded as a "second mom" to many, especially her niece and nephew, Megan and Raymond Glad.

Connie will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her father, Andrew Bruno (1971); her mother, Catherine (nee Pavich) Bruno - Glad (2013); her stepfather Raymond W. Glad (2017), and her beloved husband, Donald "Ricky" Evans (2016).

She is survived by her extended family and dear friends.
