Daniel Gilbert Fritsch

Age 81, late of the Lago Vista Community in Lockport passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicago, raised in Oak Forest, lived in Tinley Park and Orland Park before moving to Lockport in 2021. A proud United States Navy Veteran. Dan was an avid Chicago Bears fan, loved to hunt, enjoyed gardening, but above all else cherished spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Edith (Nee Campbell) Fritsch.

Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Rose "Bozie" (Nee Tadevich) Fritsch; three cherished daughters, Lisa Rivera, Julie Stracke, and Sandra Hansard; four adored grandchildren, Jessica and Taylor Rivera, Jordan Rabbers, and Matthew Hansard. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children Research Hospital in Dan's name would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until Military Honors rendered by the United States Navy at 7:45pm. Following visitation Cremation Rites will be respectfully addressed.
