David E. Johnson Sr.

Age 84, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

Born in Park Rapids, Minnesota, raised in LaGrange, IL, raised his children in Countryside, IL, and a resident of Lockport since 1999. United States Navy Veteran. He worked for Cummins Trucking as a mechanic, Manroland printing as a printing mechanic, and retired from LTHS where he was a custodian for many dedicated years. He faithfully attended Crystal Lawn Church of The Nazarene, Crest Hill. An avid Chicago Cubs fan, he enjoyed doing puzzles, and cherished spending time with his family.

Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ethel (Nee Latham) Johnson; eight cherished children, Jeff Johnson of Virginia, Mark (Lorri) Johnson of Rhode Island, David (Kimberley) Johnson Jr. of Montgomery, IL, Ruth Johnson of Willow Brook, IL, Rebecca (David) Blanchard of St, John, IN, Jessica (Luke) Jimenez of Lockport, Ethel (Joe) Gonzalez of Crest Hill, IL, and  Kathleen (Thomas) Baisden of Hickory Hills, IL; and his adored grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed.
