David Allan Wisnieski SFC

Age 67, late of the Lago Vista Community in Lockport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Christ Hospital, Oaklawn. Born in Harvey, IL., raised in Posen and Hickory Hills, he traveled and lived many places throughout his military career in the United States Army, and a resident of Lockport for the past 10 years. "Ski" was a proud Motorpool Sergeant of the United States Army, Desert Storm Veteran, who served in multiple continents throughout the world. Member of the Lago Vista Veterans Club, and Parkview Christian Church (Sarge), Homer Glen for many years.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Evelyn (Nee: Mech) Wisnieski and beloved granddaughter, Madyson Rayanne.

Survived by his loving wife, Billie (Nee: Setzke) Wisnieski; three cherished children, David (Teresa) Wisnieski, Jennifer (Roger) Boyd and Michael Wisnieski; stepchildren, Jeff Holmes, Lisa (Fernando) Cervantes and Angie (Mike) Filinowicz; 12 adored grandchildren; one brother, James (late Jeanette) Wisnieski; two sisters, Sharon (late Thomas) Mildaus and Kim (Mike) Vithoulkas; numerous other cherished family members and friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Lago Vista Veterans Club in David's name would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 at Parkview Christian Church 14367 W. 159 ^th St. Homer Glen, IL., 60491 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00pm. Following services Cremation Rites will be respectfully addressed. Inurnment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood with full Military Honors on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 9:30am.
