Dean L. Hill, age 95, of New Lenox, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Born February 1, 1929, in Galesburg, IL.

Beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Grace) & Barbara (nee Fiedler) Hill; loving father of Doug (Cathy) Hill, Greg Hill, Tom Hill, Jackie (Steve) Ebben, and the late Mike and David Hill; step-father of Jim Hartney; proud grandfather of Miranda (Whittaker) Harpel-McGaw, Alycia (Andrew) Fast, Mason Hill, Michael Hill, Laura Hill, Katie Hill, Sarah Ebben, and Julia Ebben; and great-grandfather of Kateri and Tapio Harpel-McGaw.

Dean was active in the New Lenox Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Optimist Club, Food Pantry, Good Shepherd Manor, St Jude Church and numerous other organizations. He had a longtime career with State Farm Insurance.

Lying In State at St. Jude Catholic Church 241 W. Second Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 11:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm.

Interment Thursday, March 21,2024, following Mass at Maplewood Cemetery 337 W. Haven Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451
