Deborah A. "Debbie" Ferak

(Nee Wilson)

Age 60, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident of Lockport. Attended Taft Grade School, and a 1980 graduate of Lockport Township High School.  As a child Debbie enjoyed spending time on the pontoon boat with her grandpa Max. She always looked forward to bowling nights with the girls at Strike and Spare. Debbie was always ready for her next trip to the local casinos. She enjoyed trips to the beaches in Michigan, vacationing to Siesta Key, and spending the summer months at Marina Shores Yacht Club in Portage Indiana. You could always find Debbie laying by the pool, and boating on the lake which brought her so much joy. The Ferak family would like to thank her family and friends for the love, care and support they have shown throughout Debbie's battle, your kindness and help will always be treasured.

Preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Barbara (Nee Cullen) Wilson; her in laws, Bernard and Margaret (Nee Leow) Ferak; and a brother-in-law, Donald DeMaestri.

Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Jerry Ferak; one cherished son, Michael Ferak of Chicago; one sister, Terri (Donald) Clark of Lockport; a brother, Gary Wilson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., her sisters-in-law, Joyce (Ron) Buchholz, Pam (Jim) Boucher, Barb (Armando) Zamora, Jackie (Tom) Buldak, and Jane (Tom) Ferguson; numerous other cherished family members and friends also survive.

Per Deborah's wishes Cremation Rites were respectfully addressed.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 1:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 4:00pm with Deacon Kevin Ryan officiating.
