Diane Gay Mueller

(Nee Beneventi)

Age 68, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Joliet and was a lifelong Lockport resident. She was a fan of horror movies, enjoyed frequenting the Casino, playing the nickel slots, shopping at the Dollar Store, she loved Halloween, and she enjoyed garage saleing. Above all else she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Patsy (Nee Carlock) Beneventi.

Survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Joe Mueller Sr.; two loving children, Joseph II (Josephine) Mueller of Joliet, and Myriah (Leonard Jr.) Krch of Lockport; six adored grandchildren, Joey III and Edward Mueller, and Lenny III, Killian, Owen, and Emmett Krch; and one brother, Jay (late Beth) Beneventi of Lockport; her dear aunt, Cheri (late Bill) Jeans of Lemont, and numerous cherished family members and friends.

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed.

A memorial gathering will be held to celebrate Diane's life on Saturday, November 9, 2024, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441, from 1:00pm until time of memorial service at 3:00pm, with Pastor Jon Pedersen of Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church officiating.
