Elsie L. Jicka (Honey)

(Nee Konopasek)

Age 104, late of Palos Hills and Homer Glen, passed away peacefully December 12,2020. Born in Chicago IL. on February 26, 1916.

Former member of Sacred Heart Parish in Palos Hills and the Palos Hills Sunshine Club.

Preceded in Death by her husband William; her daughter Janet Fagerson; parents Edward and Mildred Konopasek; two brothers Emil and Raymond Konopasek.

Survived by her son-in-law Orrin Fagerson; her beloved grandchildren, Lisa (Wayne) Goerres, Krista (Scott) Allen and Shelly (Dan) Dorian. Six cherished great-grandchildren Ryan, Ashley ,Shawn, Sydney, Dylan and Colin.

Honey was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her face would light up when she saw her family. She was a wonderful baker who made fabulous kolacky's and famous chocolate chip cookies.

Elsie will be laid to rest in a private family burial at Bohemian National Cemetery, Chicago with only her immediate family in attendance
