Eugene K. Guenard

"Gene"

Age 40, late of Lockport passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Born in Joliet and a lifelong resident of Lockport. Member of Grace Baptist Church, Lockport. Gene was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and dear friend to many. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his beloved brother, Daniel Lietke (2014); and his maternal grandmother, Williametta Guenard (2017).

Survived by his devoted mother, Jenny (Ed Lovett) Lietke; four children, Kyle Guenard, Jazmyn Guenard, Josh Guenard and Genavieve Guenard; a sister, Laura Bennefield; one brother, Matthew Guenard; Maternal Grandfather, John Guenard; two uncles, William and Michael (Kristie Schram) Guenard. Numerous other cherished family members and friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Guenard / Lietke family in Eugene's name would be greatly appreciated.

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed.

Memorial service celebrating Eugene's life will be held at Grace Baptist Church 501 N. State St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 2:00pm with Pastor Keith Harrison officiating.
