Francine K. Hofmeister

(Nee: Cardella)

Age 72, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, February 5, 2021. Born and raised in Chicago and a resident of Lockport since 2008. Francine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Emily (Nee: Horazy) Cardella.

Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard L. Hofmeister; three children, Gina (Daniel) Walter, Eric Hofmeister and Jane (John) Karpinski; one adored granddaughter, Hannah Walter; two sisters, Joanne (late John) Coleman and Janice (Ken) Koll. Numerous other cherished family members also survive.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St., Lockport, IL., 60441 at 10:00am. Interment following services at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice. Visitation in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
