Francis "Frank" Herbert Barnes Sr., age 64, passed away Monday evening at 8:10 p.m., September 25th at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Laura (Oberc) Barnes, children Lauren Bizjack, Francis Barnes Jr., Jessica Harden, his loving Grandchildren Paisley Harden, Lucille Bizjack, and Tatum Harden.

Frank was born November 6th, 1958, in Chicago, IL, He met Laura through a dear friend Helen and at that time claimed she was the "Love of his life". He has been living in Illinois his whole life working as a proud Diesel Mechanic for over 40 years. Frank, an avid sports fan, loved being there for all three of his children's sporting events. His favorite show was jeopardy and he always knew the right answers to not only a TV show but life in general. He also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, and a life goal was to travel the US on his Harley.

The fondest memories of Frank are seeing Paisley Francine, Lucille Sky, and Tatum John be born, and while visiting with his grandchildren, it brought so much joy in his family life. He also was so proud to see all three of his kids graduate college.

Frank will be remembered as a proud Husband, Father, and Papa, and he will be deeply missed.

Memorial Visitation on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport, IL.  Family and friends to meet on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at St. Dennis Church ( 1214 S.
