Frank Kucer

Age 90, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021, and was reunited with his beloved wife Eleanore in heaven. Born in Lockport and was a lifelong resident. Retired in 1992 from Commonwealth Edison after 38 years of dedicated service. Former member of St. Joseph Church, Lockport. A United States Airforce Veteran, Frank and all six of his brother's proudly served their country both in the Korean War and World War II.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleanore (Nee Ganster); a daughter, Deborah Brueckheimer; one son, Donald Kucer; son-in-law, Mike Andrews; granddaughter, Elise Koski; his parents, Steven and Mary (Nee Manzak); sisters, Ann Brozman, Susan Janovsky, Mary Pohl, Helen Paul, Theresa Kwarta, Anastasia Nasser and Julia Egizio; his brothers, Michael, Steven, Peter, Joseph, Paul and John Kucer.

Survived by his devoted children, Cheryl Andrews, Sandra Koski and Frank (Jeanie) Kucer; fiancé of Donald (Diane Gierden), and adored grandchildren and great grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Memorial Squad or Smile Train, PO Box 96231, Washington, DC 20090-6231 in Frank's name would be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held on his 91 ^st birthday Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 at from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00noon.  Interment following services with full Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
