Gloria C. Cicirale
(Nee Zuccarelli)

Age 93, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Born and raised in Chicago, and a resident of Lockport for the past 30 years. Member of St. Joseph Church, Lockport. Gloria retired from South Chicago Community Hospital, where she was a dedicated employee for many years. Gloria was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Gloria is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Cicirale (2012); her parents, Carlo and Mary (nee Mirabelli) Zuccarelli; siblings Frank (Betty) Zuccarelli, Frances (Joseph) Bertucci, Louis (Mary Jane Gentleman), Palmera (Max) Szalbierz, Richard (Geraldine) Zuccarelli, Evelyn (Steven) Kujawa.

Survived by her three devoted children, Karen Cicirale of Lemont, IL, Kathleen (Michael) Hatczel of Munster, IN, and Kenneth (Tracey) Cicirale of Lockport, IL; 6 adored grandchildren, Michael Cicirale, Christian (Anna) Cicirale, Carrie (Adam) Batty, William Hatczel, Carly (Brennen) Legan, and Catherine Cicirale; three great-grandchildren, Emilio and Roman Cicirale and Declan Batty; one sister, Yolanda (late John) Jamicich; and a brother, Carl (Doris) Zuccarelli; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

Gloria will be remembered for her warm heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 8:00am until prayers at 9:15am. Following prayers Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 500 S. Jefferson St, Lockport at 10:00am. Interment following Mass at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.
