Harjit Mahal

Age 84, late of Homer Glen, passed away peacefully November 22, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  Born in India, moved to the United States in 1976.  Harjit attended the Sikh Temple in Palatine, IL.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, loved to feed people but most of all, she was loving and devoted to her family.

Preceded in death by her husband Mohinder Singh Mahal, her parents and son, Greg Mahal.

Survived by her three children, Paul (Sharon) Mahal, Narinder Mahal and Roy Mahal; two grandchildren, Kristy and Jena Mahal.

Visitation Saturday December 2, 2023 from 10:00am to Noon at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport.  Ceremony will be at noon in the funeral home chapel where traditional Indian customs will be respected.  Immediately following the ceremony, cremation rites will be respectfully addressed.
