Harold I. Werth, Jr.

Harold Werth, Age 83, of Lockport, passed away August 14, 2021 after a brief illness.

Harold was born on September 26, 1937 in Hinsdale, Illinois to Harold and Gladys (Botwright) Werth. He married Judith "Judie" (née Smith) on June 7, 1958 and enjoyed 54 years of marriage and three children before her passing in 2012. Harold owned and operated Werth's Triumph Sales (established in 1963) and Werth's Automotive Machining until his retirement until 2011. Many customers became lifelong friends and enjoyed many afternoons hanging around "the shop". His wisdom and flair for telling stories will be greatly missed.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Marlene Sparks and Vivian Cabeen and daughter-in-law Kimberly Werth.

Survived by his sons, Harold "Butch" Werth (late Kimberly) and Kurtis (Becky) Werth, daughter, Jan Werth, granddaughters Lauren Werth and Joyanne (Joe) Lepe, great-granddaughters Madilyn and Mariella Lepe, brothers-in-law Jamie (late Joyce) Smith and Berry (late Vivian) Cabeen, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Per Harold's wishes, a private service was held, and cremation rites were respectfully accorded.
