"Butch, Hank"

Age 65, late of Lockport passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Employed by the City of Chicago Streets and Sanitation Department for 32 dedicated years, retiring in 2005. He was a huge sports fanatic who loved the Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls. Loved music which was a big part of his life. Butch loved to cook and was always trying new recipes. He was an avid reader, dabbled in photography, and fishing. Above all else he enjoyed spending time with family especially his nieces and nephews who were his everything. He was a kind and loving soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Antonio (1991) and Virginia (2012) (Nee: Meta) Gutierrez.

Survived by his three devoted siblings, Richard Sr. (Victoria) Gutierrez, Michael (Lynn) Gutierrez, and Gina (Jim) Hayden; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other cherished family members also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital which he was and avid supporter of in Butch's name would be greatly appreciated

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 3:00pm with memorial Service at 6:00pm, visitation will resume after Memorial Service until 8:00pm.
