"Hank"

Age 78, late of Homer Glen passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Beardstown, IL., living in the Lockport / Homer Glen area all his life. Retired in 1998 from Stateville Correctional Center after 31 years of dedicated service. Proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. A 1961 graduate of Lockport Township High School and Joliet Junior College in 1974. Member of United Methodist Church, New Lenox. Past Secretary and Treasurer for AFSCME Local # 1866, past board of directors for the W.C. Credit Union.

Preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Olive (Nee: Hulett) Schroll; his brothers, Jack, Fred, Robert and Francis and sisters, Mary Kincaid, Lilie Hansen and Gertrude Baron

Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Faye Ann (Nee: Rodgers); devoted daughter, Andrea (George) Moralis; adored grandchildren, Austin and Alyssa; his brother, Elmer (Sandra); his sisters, Juanita (late Harold) Fletcher and Arla (late Donald) Knudsen; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members also survive. Memorials may be made in Henry's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or United Methodist Church, New Lenox.

Private services and Inurnment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with only his immediate family in attendance.
