Hildegard Brand

(Nee: Panzilius)

Age 91, late of Mokena, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Born in Ukraine, moved to the United States in 1957 where she resided in the Chicagoland area. Former member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was an avid gardener, seamstress, above all else she cherished spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willi Brand (1981); parents, Otto and Emma (Nee: Strekert) Panzilius; and one brother, Erhard (late Herta) Panzilius.

Survived by her three devoted sons, Reiner (Carolyn), Dieter (Karen), and Edwin (Lori) Brand; seven adored grandchildren, Ingrid (Juan) Brand, Alexander (Courtnay) Brand, Katie (Tony) Tedesco, Douglas (Heidi) Brand, Kyle (Saul) Brand, Dakota Brand, and Madison Brand; and her cherished great grandchildren, Ryland Brand, Mila Tedesco, Charlotte Tedesco and one on the way.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Everyone will meet at the Bethania Cemetery chapel 7701 Archer Ave. Justice, IL 60458 on Thursday January 13, 2022.
