Howard R. "Bob" Walker Jr.

Age 68, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at the Lightways Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Joliet and a resident of Lockport since the early 1960's.

Bob was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors. He was a coach to many in his younger years and loved his family. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union Local # 558. But above all else what he cherished most were his children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Howard Sr., and Virginia (Nee: Ledbetter) Walker; one sister, Catherine Walker; and a brother, Johnny Walker.

Survived by his loving wife, Pamela (Nee: Viscum) Walker; devoted children, Howard "Bobby" (Samantha) Walker, and Sabrina (Daniel) Jones; four adored grandchildren, Spencer and Layla Jones, and Matthew and Florence Walker; two brothers, Tommy (Judy), and Frank (Diane); and two sisters, Lynn and Virginia. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive. Please OMIT flowers. Memorials to the Walker family in Bob's name will be donated to various local charities.

Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St., Lockport, IL 60441 at 9:30am to St. John Vianney Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Following all services cremation rites will be respectfully addressed. Visitation will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm.
