Ilene A. Zmucki
(nee Widstrom)

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 13, 2026.

Born and raised in Blue Island, IL.  Lived in Dyer, IN for 27 years and a resident of Illinois since 2021.  Employed as a preschool teacher for many dedicated years.

Member of the Red Hat Women's Group in Dyer, IN.  An avid sewist, she loved to babysit, but above all else she cherished spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas J. Zmucki Sr.; son, Terry J. Zmucki; parents, Helmer and Astrid Widstrom; granddaughter, Lauren I. Zmucki and one brother, Ernie Widstrom.

Survived by her loving sons, Thomas Zmucki Jr. and Tim (Andrea) Zmucki and three grandchildren, Julia (Robert) Munos, Brooke and Zachery Zmucki and one great-grandson, Mason Zmucki
