James R. Hesser

"Jim"

Age 62, late of Joliet passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jim was originally from Glendora, NJ., and graduated Triton Regional High School. Employed by Exxon Mobil for over 40 years retiring in 2018.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eleanor (Nee: Guthoff) Hesser; his late wife of 37 years, Kathleen (Nee: Fennen) Hesser; and stepdaughter, Amanda Weber.

Survived by his loving wife, Nielene (Nee: Weiss) Hesser; a son, Robert Hesser, stepdaughters, Annie and Amy Weber; a brother, Ed (Patty) Hesser of Florida, and his sister, Donna (companion, Gary Beavers) of South Carolina.  In lieu flowers, memorials to the ASPCA, PAWS Chicago, or a local animal shelter of donor's choice would be appreciated.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St., Lockport, IL., 60441 at 2:00pm.

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed.
