Jane L. Pierson

(Nee Love)

Age 91, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Born in Rockford, IL, raised in Byron, IL, and a resident of Lockport since 1955. Jane was a dedicated Librarian Aid for 10 years at Lockport Township Highschool. Member of First Congregational Church, Lockport.

Preceded in death by her beloved son, Thomas Pierson (2019); parents, Stuart and Helen (Nee Bunker) Love; a sister, Josephine Weber; and one niece, Jeannie Jacobsen.

Survived by her devoted Husband, Russell E. Pierson; one son, Jim (Cheryl) Pierson; daughter in law, Mary Pierson; 7 cherished grandchildren, 11 adored great grandchildren; loving siblings, Kathryn (James) Jacobsen and Jim (LeeAnn) Love and brother-in-law, Linn Weber. Numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members also survive. Jane's family would like to thank Silver Cross Hospital and Lightways Hospice for their love, care, and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lightways Hospice would be greatly appreciated.

Cremation rites have been respectfully addressed.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 11:00am in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441. Inurnment private.
