Janet J. Bormet

(Nee Blazevich)

Age 82, late of Homer Glen, was called home unexpectedly but peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, where she was reunited with her beloved husband, Glen who passed away March 7, 2025. Janet and Glen were married on October 6, 1962.  First, she lived her life for her parents and brother, then for her husband and son (Steve), doing many activities the three of them enjoyed from just hanging out to working hard on projects.  She was selfless and benevolent, putting others before herself.  She was an amazing cook, had a great passion for her dogs, and couldn't pass up a Garage Sale.  She cherished spending time with her loving family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.  She worked many jobs, closing out her career proudly at Argonne Natl. Laboratory.

Preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Glen Bormet; her parents, Joseph and Catherine Blazevich; and one brother, Charles Blazevich.

Survived by her loving and devoted son, Steve (Sheila Farrer) Bormet; and numerous cherished family members and friends.

All services were privately held.
