Jeanne R. Ketelaar

(Nee Thompson)

Age 90, late of Homer Glen passed away peacefully at The Cottages of New Lenox on Friday, June 24, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Chicago and a resident of Homer Glen since 1967. Jeanne had a strong faith and was a very Devout Catholic. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader, but especially cherished spending time with her family. She was a kind and loving soul and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Ketelaar (2006); two beloved children, Walter Jr., and Marlene Florence Margentina; her parents, Robert and Florence (Nee Paschke) Thompson; and one Brother, Robert Thompson Jr.

Survived by her devoted children, Gene (Patricia) Ketelaar, James (Karen) Ketelaar, Roy (Lorraine) Ketelaar, Laura (Guy) Mathis, and Elaine (James) Kaminski; son-in-law, Ross Margentina; 16 adored grandchildren, and 27 cherished great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

Private Services and Interment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Alsip will be held.
