Jessie L. Gercone

Age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 4, 2020 at Presence Villa Franciscan Rest Home, Joliet. Born in Pennsylvania, living in Burbank and a former resident at Senior Star, Romeoville. Jessie was an avid BINGO player, loved going to the casinos and enjoyed reading. Above all else she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandma and great-great grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Gercone (1977); a beloved daughter in infancy, Diane Gercone; parents, William and Zaidai (Irwin) Kelley; and her brothers and sisters.

Survived by her cherished children, Jeannett (Paul) Kliem of Sarasota, FL., and Benjamin (Jody) Gercone of Lockport; nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other adored family members also survive.

Visitation, Funeral Service and Burial at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Alsip will be held with only her immediate family in attendance.
