Joan F. Kohler (nee Gabriel), age 67 of Crest Hill, passed away peacefully June 15, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William; her parents, Peter Gabriel I and Lorraine Ornder; two brothers, Robert Gabriel and Steven Gabriel. Joan is survived by her loving daughters, Tricia Kohler and Christine (Glenn) Baterbonia; two brothers, David Carpenter and Peter (Mary Lou) Gabriel II; father, Jay Ornder; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Joan enjoyed crafts, going to the casino, fishing, gardening, cooking, and baking. She also had a passion for Clydesdale Horses. Joan was Elvis Presley's biggest fan! There will be a memorial visitation Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME & HERITAGE CREMATORY, 1105 E. 9 ^th Street, Lockport, 60441. Inurnment immediately following services at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.

Per Joan's wishes, cremation rites were respectfully addressed.
