Jose "Joe" Iniguez, 79

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 20, 2024 in Joliet with family.  Born in Mexico.  Retired from Heckmann Building Products in Melrose Park.  Joe was a quiet man who loved movies, enjoyed fishing, and watching sports including baseball, football and hockey.  He always enjoyed video games even as he got older.  He mostly loved the simple things in life, a cup of coffee, a cigarette and long walks along the lakefront in Chicago.

Preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Petra Iniguez; sons, Jeffrey and Joshua Iniguez; siblings, Jesse (Angie) Iniguez, Maria (David) Iniguez-Polaski, Rachel Iniguez and Jaime Iniguez.

Survived by his wife, Donna Iniguez; loving children, Jason Iniguez and Laura Iniguez; many grandchildren; siblings, Hank Iniguez, David Iniguez, Olivia (Jerry) Cerda, Lupe Iniguez and Carlos Iniguez; many nieces, nephews, Nielsen in-laws and dear friends.
