Joseph H. Griffin Sr.

"Joe"

Age 86, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Chicago, lived in Elcho Wisconsin, and a longtime resident of the Lockport / Joliet area. Retired from Certified Warehouse Foods in 2017 after many years of dedicated services. Joe was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, and old western movies. Above all else he cherished spending time with his family.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Juanita (Nee Baker) Griffin (1999); his parents, Thomas and Olivia (Nee Higgens) Griffin; and 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Survived by his five devoted children, Kimberly Griffin, Kelli Griffin, Joe Jr. (Janet) Griffin, Karen (Arnie) Heintzelman, and Dale (Tanya) Griffin; four loving grandchildren, Randy and Branden Heintzelman, and Sarah and Zachary Griffin; one adored great grandson, Carter Heintzelman; a brother, Danny (Beverly) Griffin; and numerous cherished family members and friends.

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed.
A memorial visitation will be held at The Village Christian Church 8965 South Bell Rd Minooka, Illinois 60447, on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 3:00pm until 6:00pm.
