Age 92, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet. Born in Lockport and a lifelong resident. Employed by First Midwest Bank (Heritage National Bank), Law Office of Gerald Cunico, and Joseph Rosich Accounting Firm for many dedicated years. Joseph was a member of St. Joseph Church, Lockport, volunteered at Catholic Charities for many years, he was an avid reader and loved old time movies. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph D. and Anna (Nee: Besso) Cunico; three sisters, Berniece Adelmann, Dorothy Adelmann, and Marie Greenan; and one brother, Gerald Cunico.

Survived by one sister, Patricia (Leonard) Wrona; sister-in-law, Jackquelyn Cunico, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Church, Lockport for Masses in Joseph's name or Lightways Hospice, Joliet would be appreciated.

Private Memorial Mass at St. Joseph Church, Lockport and Inurnment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Romeoville were held with his immediate family in attendance.
