"Joe"

Age 74, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. Joe loved Blackjack, Dunkin' Coffee, and Thai food. We loved him for his dry humor and for not realizing when he said something funny. We hope he doesn't have to tip in heaven.

Husband of Carol (Linkis) Brabec; father to Joseph R. Brabec; stepfather to Tom (Tracy) Suntken; grandfather of Kelsey and Keira Suntken; brother of Kathy (Fred) Gregorczyk, Gloria Kong (deceased), Carol Hines, Jim Brabec (deceased), and Bob Brabec; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and dear friend of many.  Joe will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Please omit flowers.

A memorial gathering celebrating Joseph's life will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 10:00am until 1:00pm.
