Jozef Wilczek

Age 72, late of Lockport passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2022, at the Lightways Hospice Home in Joliet.

Born in Gronkow, Poland on January 1, 1950, to the late Leo and Aniela (Nee: Bochnak) Wilczek. Jozef left his family's farm in Poland on December 4, 1981 and was a resident of Lockport for the past 30 years.

Survived by his wife of 50 years, Maria (Nee: Szewczyk) Wilczek; three children, Stanley Wilczek, Beata (John) Kessler, and Robert (Shannon) Wilczek; eight grandchildren, Bernadette, Alexandra, Sianna, Eveline, Emma, Avery, Cora, and Colin; two sisters, Josephine (Casey) Sularski, and Bronia (Roger) VanSkoyk; and the entire Szewczyk family.

Services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 at 9:30am to St. Joseph Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Entombment following Mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park, IL. Visitation Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at the funeral home from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
