Karen A. Lewis

Age 72, late of Lockport passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in the Pullman Area of Chicago, lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, Matteson, Homer Glen, and was a resident of the greater Chicagoland area since 1973. She was an avid shopper, enjoyed antiquing, collecting Pullman memorabilia and was an exceptional homemaker. Karen's greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her mother, Rose (Nee Rosso) Cerenzia; her father, Frank Arvia; one sister, Jeanie Bombagetti; and one brother, Leonard Cerenzia.

Survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, George S. Lewis; three loving children, Michele (Jason) Evans, Richard (Kristi) Lewis, and Sara Fazio; son-in-law, Mark Fazio; five adored grandchildren, Madison, Natalie, Josophine, Francesca "Frankie", and Dominic; one sister Anita (late Xav) Hennessey; one brother, Don (Ruth) Cerenzia; and numerous other cherished family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials to TLC Animal shelter in Karen's name would be appreciated.
