Kathleen Joann "Kathy" Stojak

(Nee: Kasmirs)

Age 82, late of Southlake, TX passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2022. Born and raised on the North Side of Chicago, and a resident of Texas for the past 29 years. An avid Chicago sports fan, gardener, enjoyed reading, puzzles, but above all cherished her family.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Stojak Sr. (2012); loving granddaughter, Lauren Zmucki; her parents, Bernard and Bernice (Nee: Kluk) Kasmirs; and one brother, John Kasmirs.

Survived by her devoted children, Richard (Denise) Stojak Jr., Mary (Ken) Schneiter, and Amy Stojak, Andrea (Tim) Zmucki, and Steven (Sarah) Stojak; nine cherished grandchildren, Emilie (Jake) McLain, Nathaniel Stojak, Zachary Stojak, Olivia Stojak, Julia Zmucki, Brooke Zmucki, Sydney Stojak, Abigail Stojak and Ezekiel Stojak; sisters-in-law, Joanne Kasmirs, and Camille Clavio; numerous other cherished family members and friends also survive. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association in Kathy's name would be greatly appreciated.

Funeral Service will Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the O'Neil Funeral Home chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 at 9:00am to Our Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood. Visitation in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
