Lois Mae Bertelsen

Age 100, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 27, 2022.

Lois is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Leonard Bertelson (2010); her parents, Robert and Myrl (Nee: White) Jungles; brothers, Merlin "Bud" Jungles and Charles Jungles; and sisters, Irma Thomas and Mildred Olha.

Survived by her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Jungles and June Kropp; her numerous nieces and nephews also know as her "Little Darlings"; and her cherished friend of 82 years, Betty (late Donald) Dunn. Lois's family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Lightways Hospice Care, especially Nurse Christina and CNA Sue and her home health caregivers.

Visitation will be held in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL 60441 on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 10:00am until time of funeral services at 12:00pm. Immediately following services interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Joliet.
