Lucille M. Vassalla

Age 92, late of Lockport passed away peacefully Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her late residence in Lockport IL. surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chicago and living there most of her life, until moving to Lockport in 2018.

Lucille was a wonderful homemaker and her home was always immaculate.  Above all else she loved her family and cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lucien and Antonia Tido and a brother, Anthony (late Marian) Tido.

Survived by her Loving husband Jerry, whom she married May 6, 1950; three loving children, Sandra (John) Painter, Sharon (William) Cassidy, Jerry (Kelly) Vassalla; eight cherished grandchildren, Jaime (Ken), Jerry (Lisa), James (Maria), Billy, Vincent (Laura), Jerry (Malinda), Joseph and Michael; 10 great-grandchildren, Sam, Alex, Rocco, Thomas, Vincent, Anthony, Gianna, Alexis, Jacob, and Mia. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL 1105 E. 9 ^TH ST. LOCKPORT IL.

Family will MEET guests Friday, February 26, 2021 at Saint Dennis Church 1214 S. Hamilton St. Lockport For Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.

Entombment will be PRIVATE at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park IL.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing practices are required inside the funeral home and a limited capacity will be allowed at one time.
