Lyla H. Srenaski

(Nee Matarrese)

Age 49, late of Lockport passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Elmhurst, IL, raised in Lombard and a resident of Lockport since 2012. Lyla was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mimi, daughter, sister and friend. She was very creative, enjoyed learning about her family heritage through Ancestry.com, but above all else cherished spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her grandfather, John Matarrese and grandmother, Helen Matarrese

Survived by her husband, James Srenaski Jr.; loving daughter, JoAnna (Manny) Matarrese-Zapata; Mother, Joan Matarrese; adored grandson, Leo Matarrese-Zapata; one brother, Michael (Melissa) Matarrese; stepson, Jamesson Srenaski; stepdaughter, McKenna Srenaski.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St. Lockport, IL from 12:00pm until Services at 3:00pm. Following all services cremation rites will be respectfully addressed.
