Marcella J. "Marty" Bakker

(Nee Flassig)

Age 91, late of the Lago Vista Community in Lockport passed away peacefully on Friday, November 4, 2022. Born and raised in Blue Island, and a resident of Lockport for many years. Marty loved to garden, camp, and enjoyed hiking.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Marybeth Sukis; her father, Fred ( Mertha ) Flassig; and her mother, Clara (nee Degenfelder) Flassig.

Survived by her devoted husband of 26 years, Paul Bakker; four loving children, Linda Walters, Diane Schrum, Peggy (Jae) Eismann, and Mark (Moe) Pustelnik; and many cherished grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Cremation Rites have been respectfully addressed. A celebration of Marty's life will be held at a later date.
