Maryann Grund

Age 70, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully at the Lightways Hospice Home, Joliet on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. Born and raised in Chicago, lived in Alsip, Tinley Park, and a resident of the Lago Vista Community in Lockport since 2006. Member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Lockport.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike Grund (2005); parents, Owen and Marie (Nee: Ehlert) Benson; and mother-in-law, Maryann Grund.

Survived by her three loving and devoted sons, Michael (Suzanne), Brian (Tiffany), and Joseph Grund; five adored grandchildren, Mike Jr., Ben, Katelyn, Ashlynn, and Owen Grund; four brothers, Gerry, Bob (Jan), Jim (Rose), and Pat (Sue) Benson; two sisters, Judy (late Jim) Mulvey, and Nancy (Dan) LaCoco; one brother-in-law, Chuck (Terri) Grund; numerous, nephews, nieces and other cherished family members and friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lightways Hospice 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, IL., 60431 in Maryann's name would be appreciated.

Visitation in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 ^th St., Lockport, IL. 60441 Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 9:30am until chapel prayers at 11:30am, proceeding to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00noon. Following Mass Cremation Rites will be respectfully addressed.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing practices are required inside the funeral home and a limited capacity will be allowed at one time.
