Michael M. "Spanky" Widner

Age 59, late of Crest Hill, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, surrounded by is loving family. Born in Joliet, lifelong area resident. A proud United States Navy Veteran. Michael "Spanky" was a kind and loving soul he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded by his father, Harold Widner; one niece, Shana Widner; maternal grandparents, Earl and Agnes Morrow; and his paternal grandparents, Claude and Florence Widner.

Survived by his devoted mother, Arlene (Nee Morrow) Widner; one brother, Ricky (fiancé, Amber Miller) Widner; and adored niece, Christine Miller. Numerous aunts, uncles and other cherished family members and friends also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Diabetes Association in Michael's name would be greatly appreciated.

A memorial gathering and luncheon will be celebrated on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Clarion Hotel at 411 S. Larkin in Joliet, IL
